The Émie line is a collection of handbags from Le Tanneur, a French master leather goods maker founded in 1898. This line reinterprets the iconic Emilie bag with a
softer silhouette, combining smooth leather and suede while retaining the signature Double T detail. The Emie comes in several sizes: medium, large, and XL, and can be carried by hand, over the shoulder, or crossbody.

The Emie bag is a modernized version of the Emilie. It retains the signature Double T detail and the silhouette of the Emilie, but features a softer leather made from a combination of smooth leather and suede. In contrast, our Emilie bag, with its grained leather or signature T-grain leather, has a more structured, straight silhouette. The interior layout also differs slightly, with Emie featuring additional pockets.

The Emie bag is crafted from smooth leather and suede—leather that has been lightly sanded on the surface, giving it a soft, velvety appearance. This blend gives the bag its suppleness and texture, but also lends it a character all its own. 

The Emie line is available in the following sizes: 

• Medium: 11.0 x 7.7 x 4.9 in.

• Maxi (XL): 15.7 x 11.8 x 5.5 in.

Note: All of them can be carried by hand, over the shoulder, or across the body thanks to their adjustable and removable shoulder strap.

Each size is designed to suit different everyday needs:

• Emie Medium: perfect for carrying small everyday items, such as a smartphone, wallet, or small clutch.

Dimensions: 11.0 x 7.7 x 4.9 in.

• Large: an intermediate size offering more space than the Emie Medium. Perfect for small electronic devices like tablets.

Dimensions: 12.4 x 9.3 x 5.3 in.

• Maxi (XL): bag designed to hold a 14-inch laptop

Dimensions: 15.7 x 11.8 x 5.5 in.

The Emie bag can be carried in different ways depending on its size (Medium, Large, or XL). All of these can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody using the removable, adjustable shoulder strap which is a feature shared by all the bags.
Please note that the medium and large sizes offer a second way to carry the bag
over the shoulder thanks to the removable short handle.
